One Day Retreat

One day Somatic retreat with Hendrika van Dyk.

Immersing oneself into the mystery of the body,
Practicing the art of embodied living,
Allowing an opening to deeper perceptions to occur
and awareness to develop.

In Somatics  greater emphasis is placed on the “felt experience” than on conceptual thinking and ideas. In this way we develop an inner landscape of who we are (introception) and we become self-aware.

It is like a coming home after a very long journey, there is a spontaneous sigh of relief, a felt sense of ease.  From this deep relaxation, an embodied awareness follows naturally and we enter in to the state of somatic meditation.

This group is open to all who are interested in the practices of somatic movement/ yoga and somatic meditation.

On this day we are focusing on Alignment and in particular the alignment of the internal organs, their form, function and feelings, we will spend time exploring the guts and the connection to feelings of contentment and to feelings of self.

Date: January 6.
Time: 10.30 am – 6.00pm.
Cost: $150.00
